Stake formerly known as Hello Stake, is an Australian based start up delivering micro-bidding transactions to purchase partial percent of share in the NASDAQ and other global markets. When Stake was coming to market with their first Minimal Viable Product (MVP) they wanted a development agency to support their initial build and work with their existing team to rollout their first MVP.

The Challenge
Integrating two development teams to work as one
Stake needed to get to market as soon as possible, and being short staffed they needed an experience development team who could support their team and work have two entities work seamlessly together.
Our Approach
Removing the middle management & building an autonomous process
When Stake reached out to Whitetower to help them with integrating features and building out the frontend of their platform and marketing websites. Their main development team was based overseas, whilst their marketing and design teams were based locally in Sydney, Australia.
They wanted a development team who could help bridge the gap and support the build and communicate effectively between two different timezones and was able to manage and scope out requirements between all stakeholders and departments of their business.
Continuous Development & Integration
Using Stake’s code repository and setup, Whitetower joined the project mid-build and we needed to catch up and support their project as quickly as possible.
Our Product Manager and engineers got to work, focusing on mapping out the requirements and delivering a method to rollout new features continuously in conjunction with the work that their developers were completing.
Over the next couple of months, Stake & Whitetower worked together to deliver:
- A MVP which was used to help raise the initial Seed Funding
- Provided guidance to setup a Kabaan-style pipeline of changes
- Helped setup a CI tool to launch services into various environments without any offline time
- Built & Integrated core back end functionality with their frontend

Our ability to work in a flexible and adaptive state allowed us to match the workflow and processes that Stake was used to operating in.
As we continued to work together, our team was able to provide technical improvements and our “two-cents” to the matter, leading to a partnership which was both mutually beneficial and profitable for both parties. Our work was further highlighted by Stake’s success with a Series A funding and national reach of their product in the Australian market.
